The Griffin FAQs

• Is the griffin covid secure?

  The Griffin is a COVID secure premises, we follow and adhere to Goverment guidelines at all times. We also have carried out a COVID Risk Assesment and have a COVID Policy.

• Are children allowed?

  We welcome children inside and outside. We just ask that all children are counted in the party number so that we can make sure we can provide a big enough table. We can also provide high chairs (dependent on availability).

• Are dogs allowed?

  We welcome well behaved dogs outside, unfortuantely we cannot welcome inside due to the size of our pub.

• Is there a dress code?

  We do not have a dress code but just ask that it is respectful to our staff and other customers (bottoms and tops required please!). No swimwear, please.

• Do you offer private dining?

  We don’t normally offer private dining but if you are wanting this, please do call or email us and we might be able to accommodate.

• How often do you update your menu?

  We keep our pub classic menu the same, as people like to come back over and over to order their favourite comfort meals (menu could be subject to change as applicable). Our fresh fish menu changes daily, depending on the availability of what fish is available that day.

• Do you offer cooking classes?

  We don’t offer cooking classes as a matter of course but if this is something you would like, please do give us a call or email us and we can see how we can help.
